Added some basic shading to see how he'd look in comic style.

I gave Xander's hair darker roots and a bit more variation in the overall color since he isn't naturally blonde. His hair is dark brown, nearly black naturally.

Ended up giving Xander longer, wavy hair since it worked better with his face shape.

Close up of just Cam. I love his look. He's so adorably disheveled.

Done with Cade. Working on Cameron. I can already draw Gabriel and Acario pretty well, but I'm doing this for all of my major character's for consistency sake later.

Final line and color tests on various characters.

I'm absolutely in love with how Mina looks. It took me a long time to get her aesthetic right.

I might mess a bit more with the cel shading style, but I think I honestly like these inks the best.

I'm curious about public opinion on this. Please reply with which you prefer and why.

Left: Softer lines, drawn in hard airbrush
Soft gradient/loose painterly coloring

Right: Hard, textured lines, minimal line weight variation
Minimal gradient shading + cel shade with watercolor fringe for that slight edge
