Aztec pyramids often had twin shrines, distinctive roofs and "abutments" on the summit platform...

@Rheycore @Espeonkin Halo did this recently, the Master Chief armor from the 1999 prototype, and the SPI suit from the cover of one of the old books got added to Master Chief Collection.

The Elite designs from the same 1999 prototype build also got canonized in a encylopedia as armor

@aelbrecht_ @constarlations This also doesn't even make sense FOR a Latam region: Quetzalcoatl's (left) associations were primarily to intellectualism (song, music, poetry) and wind, or the dualism of the heavens/earth, rarely water; but not fire.

Xiuhcoatl (right) is the Aztec mythological fire serpent.

@ArtsyPabster ...well researched (even then some are great, like the Chullo hat Guinea pig!) but since then they've worked on maps which handle that better, check out this route based on the site of Tula in Central Mexico (tho I think the trees are WIP).

@TheOfficial_ESS @WernissageYT @LateNightHalo Ha, yes I noticed they could be construed as feet, but they're still meant to be thighs high off the ground. Maybe you could have arcing coming out of them and connecting to the ground to evoke legs?

I actually tried that with floating weapons (pic) but thought it looked weird

@WernissageYT @LateNightHalo I like the watcher and the torso of the knight, but otherwise I feel like these are at an awkward "in between" of trying to be more like sentinels but still having organic/creature like silhouettes.

I'm not an artist, but here's an attempt to make the knight more a floating...

@JasonCKTham @WithTheWill I absolutely love the vivid colors on Seadramon's 90's Kenji Watanabe art contrasted against the thick black shadows, sadly Mega and Metalseadramon doesn't do it for me.

I also think it's a shame MetalSeadramon isn't the perfect stage and is the ultimate instead, so it misses...
