The Argonauts approached the narrow channel where the sea monsters Scylla and Charybdis lived on opposite ends of the Strait. The sea nymph Thetis, unseen by the crew grabbed the steering oar and kept Argo exactly between the two monsters in a safe passage.
In Greek Mythology the Thriai were three prophetic nymphs with the heads of women and the bodies of bees. Apollo was taught the art of prophecy from them. They needed honey to give a true omen and that’s what people offered them to ask them about their future.🐝🍯

After Amalthea, the nurse/goat of Zeus, he had to face the war with the Titans. Hephestus used the skin of the goat to make an impregnable shield, known as aigis, which helped Zeus to win the war. Zeus later, gave the shield to Athena who placed Medusa’s head on it.🐐🛡🐍
