#OTD 4 Nov 1802 - Birth of novelist Lady Rosina Lytton in Co. #Limerick. In 1827, she married Edward Bulwer-Lytton, a writer and politician. When their marriage broke up, he falsely accused her of insanity and had her detained in an insane asylum, which provoked a public outcry.

#OnThisDay 4 October 1886 - Lennox Robinson, playwright, poet, and one-time @AbbeyTheatre manager, is born in Douglas, Co. #Cork.
