It once roamed the arid forests of the Kayenta Formation, dominating as the apex predator. It sports prominent double-crests for auditory and visual communication.

Two large #carcharodontosaurs, the South American #giganotosaurus and North African #carcharodontosaurus. While commonly regarded as very similar, Carch possesses a distinctly more leggy build at 7 tons, while Giganotosaurus is more robust, at 8 tons.

Despite being considered a "small" theropod, #Deinonychus manages to outweigh us and many extant terrestrial carnivores. With a estimated of 75-100 kg of mass, MCZ-4371 is the largest known specimen, measuring at at 3.77~ in length.

Most of the coloration is covered via color grading and darkness, giving the illusion of complete greyscaling.
The base of the body is tan, with occasional darker regions in the upper parts of the back.
