It's the mid-2010's and Supergirl is a young character, so there has to be an academy involved. The Crucible Academy this time. A Mike comes back to finish off the New 52 run of the Girl of Steel.
Supergirl New 52 pt.2
Only a few creative changes. If not for Tony Bedard, you'd swear you had to be named Mike to write the book.
I'm a traditionalist when it comes to Captain Marvel. I don't think it's coincidence that DC fully moved away from the Captain Marvel name once sue-happy Disney bought Marvel.
John Rosenberger, a name virtually lost in time, drew a beautiful Lois Lane and great looking pages for the character's final issues of her book.
New 52 Supergirl
I guess it's Kara with the usual New 52 shenanigans afoot. Asrar is a good artist. The writers, a TV producer and a Trekkie, must've done something well to be on it for nearly 2 years. That's a good run for a New 52 book.
Supergirl 2011
Well, new Kara got almost 6 years within Post-Crisis DC before the carpet got pulled. Writers Peatty and DeConnick and artists Chang and CrissCross fill time until DC turns out the lights.
How Peter David has never written for Deadpool, I'll never know. Maybe it's typecasting.
