You know, regarding Erik Larsen's comments regarding how modern creators "Aren't as creative" as ones from the past, I have to say that after reading a *lot* of stories from the period where they were "More creative" according to him, the vast majority are just garbage.
@realcrhoward @imaginmatrix @Two_Cams25 Well, it's not really as simple as that. Sometimes it's part of an artists style to be a little exaggerated.
The artist in question- Carlos Gomez- has a pretty animated and cartoony style, and it's not meant to be "realistic" and instead something more fantastic.
A friendly reminder that Anna Marie Marconi dismissed Felicia and MJ in order to defend the honor of *Doc Ock*...
You know, I've kind of come to appreciate the bad guys who are so nasty, not even dying ends their threat. That the heroes can never truly be free of their shadow, because even their specter can cause incredible harm to them and their loved ones.
I'm just a hobbyist when it comes to art, but I can confirm.
2013 vs 2021... https://t.co/m7ItJsVMMl
Whatever happened to Ares? Marvel was trying to make him the next big thing for a while, and then he got split in half by the Sentry.
Did he ever come back? Or is he still in limbo?
It's kind of hard to articulate what I want out of the current Spider-Man books, but I was kind of hoping for a "Krakoa situation"- a big, daring new status quo that gives a lot of material for the people working on the books to play with.
@Drunken_Avenger It's bait.
As I've stated, we're also getting the marriage hardcover the same month, and there was also the tease of MJ in a spider-suit from Timeless...
Just sayin', these are both coming out in the *same* month, so maybe there's more to things than they're letting us know...
