Personally speaking, I think a major issue with the Spider-Man books is that they kind of put way too much focus on the super hero side of stuff, and kind of pushes Peter and MJ off to the side for long stretches, when what they really need to do is invert that.

I know the shipping delays aren’t anyone in the Spider-Offices fault, but I can’t help but feel that as a result they’ll shelve the Moira Jane stuff till 2023 in the scramble to set up “Dark Web.”

So I think Lowe did what he felt was best- he pushed what was to be #3 up to #2, and is probably in the process of reworking what is #5 into the new situation.

If you notice, we still don't know when ASM #5 is coming out, despite having a release date for ASM# 900.

Dan Slott: Otto is better than Peter because he loves women for their inner beauty.

Also Dan Slott: Writes an entire issue where Otto tries to r*pe MJ, bases entire relationship with Anna Marie on r*pe by deception.

I think one of the biggest issues that is perhaps dogging a few Spider-Man fans out there is that while the upcoming few months of Spider-Man have things that could be compelling, there's not a lot to actually feel overly excited about.
