A Brachiosaurus for todays #DrawDinovember browsing the conifer tree tops in a prehistoric North America. It was a Late Jurassic sauropod that could reach lengths of 69 feet and weigh 58 metric tons. #paleoart #Dinosaurs
Could dinosaurs experience joy? It's something we'll never know, but I'd like to think they did. For #DrawDinovember we have Silesaurus, a genus of silesaurid dinosauriform from the Late Triassic, approximately 230 million years ago. #paleoart
Today's #DrawDinovember isn't a dinosaur at all, but an ancestor to whales, Ambulocetus (Walking Whale). Think of it as a crocodile-otter from the early Eocene about 50 MYA. It was thought to have lived in brackish estuaries of what is now Pakistan. #Paleoart
Halloween has passed and that can only mean one thing. #Dinovember2020 begins! Starting with a #yutyrannus (feathered tyrant) this 1.1 tonnes theropod is the largest known dinosaur to have feathers. It lived in northeastern China during the early Cretaceous. #paleoart #dinosaur

Ugh, it's so gross when a fly goes into your ear, even worse if you have useless vestigial arms like #carnotaurus , a member of the Abelisauridae group of large theropods that occupied southern Gondwana during the late Cretaceous (70 MYA). #paleoart #dinosaur
Harry Rountree (1878-1950) was a New Zealand born artist that moved to England at 23. Most noted for his golfing caricatures, he also created beautiful illustrations for numerous publications. During the First World War, he served as a captain in the Royal Engineers.
More of an experiment than anything, but here's a painterly #Compsognathus. #paleoart
#AnimalArtistsUnite Wow, there are some amazing artists under this tag. The animals I like to draw are long gone.
