The Kenpachi name is a title inherited by the most skilled, via killing their predecessor.
Retsu being alive means all subsequently named Kenpachi were falsely crowned.

Any new series out that give y'all the feeling that the mangaka is aiming for 500+ chapters?

I want to talk about something new where I can make unique contributions without coincidentally overlapping with existing conclusions, theories etc.

This structure is what I really enjoy about the Kaiju format. Slowly building up anticipation & elevating tension with those on the ground. Till the main event finally pays it off. All others then being reduced to a spectator like us.

That 'tag in' was unnecessary. Just another example of Mahito's childish playfulness & enjoyment of the current situation. Both Mahito's were probably salivating at the opportunity to 'kill' Yuji's soul again..
