Female ba’khar are larger than males. The reverse is seen in the kurajaku. Encounters like these are uncommon, as kurajaku prefer estuaries while ba’khar are freshwater hunters, and bulls of the kurajaku are so large that they are more likely to go out to sea than further inland.

After a failed ambush on a dry lakebed at high noon, a young bull uktan and an old ghlanos stallion exchange ferocious bellows before the theropod wanders off to find easier prey.
