Flying with a joystick back to back with DCS, it turned out that a lot of the things I thought were problems, actually existed in DCS. It was just that with the gamepad, it's very hard to fly realistically and it basically turns into garbage in, garbage out.

I was getting tired of always using the gun against these boats so I added a new air to ground missile for the MiG-21: the Kh-66. It can be used against both land and sea targets.

A mission editor or quick mission builder really would have been the killer feature for the A-10 games. It's such a dynamic game, but you're restricted to the handful of missions the game came with.

Finally got Cuba working. While it seems to lose a lot of the impressive quirks of the original game (mainly the interactive map), the updated graphics are ace.

Very loosely based off of the Fulda Gap area in Germany. Kinda makes me want to throw together some quick tank models because I haven't tried doing that yet.

Experimenting with doing a landlocked terrain, along with a different methodology. Surprisingly I was able to get this in only a few hours. Obviously buildings/roads would take much longer, but for a 20km across terrain that's not bad at all.

Spent the whole day working on my latest terrain authoring scheme: just hand-make literally everything. I needed to keep the scope small, so I decided to base this exercise of a certain small atoll in the Pacific.
