Hello friends and followers, I didn't forget about #WhaleDayFriday, it's combined with #SundayFishSketch! I've gotten requests for shark drawings so why not share them finally!
California has a wide variety of shark species, but these three are the ones relevant to my research.
@Heckthewakeful It's the Clap Pokémon Spheal! They are the first stage of a three-stage line:
So I cried the first time I saw an Orca (both wild and captive) and not ashamed. Wow. https://t.co/v2EGFNhusu
And that's a wrap! 31 species of fish are portrayed on this panel, all of them chosen because they're important for human consumption and it does not take much imagination to think that they would've been important in the past, too! Fish are a great source of dietary protein.
Fish are diverse, and this list is inspired by many game fishing lists that exist for South-Souteast Asian countries. "Peymin" is a mixture of Proto-Indo-European and the Tamil word மீன் (Mīṉ), to create the language of characters that this art and world creation is for.
Reminder that fish feed billions of people worldwide and have since the dawn of history. Portrayed here (WIP) are just some species that might be important to people in South-Southeast Asia, as well as some methods to catch them.
