'She had never seen herself before.'

I wanted to show Medusa here horrified and fascinated by both herself and her fate, with Perseus as a background character, in an almost submissive pose holding the shield for her to truly see herself, rather than as the conquering hero.

Tea is my love language. If I make you tea, you're special to me! If you make me tea when I visit you, I'll be happy. But if you come to my house, raid my kitchen like it's your own and make us both tea? I'll love you forever.

Which cup would you choose?

A sister piece to 'putting up walls' from a week or two ago.

Frau Holle has power over the ice and snow in Germanic folklore, as well as a willingness to mete out reward and punishment. While East of the Sun and West of the Moon doesn't specifically mention snow (that I remember!), the girl travels through all weather.

Protection 1: Putting Up Walls

I think this piece could also be called sense and sensibility... Do you know that feeling when you're so idealistic and dreamy that you're at risk of being hurt, and the sensible part of you has to step up and put some protection in place?
