NicTest1 paint-over. Different technique this time, focusing on breaking up geometry and changing the lighting
From Forest of the Fallen Giants. Tried to exaggerate the lighting, ended up repainting half of it at the end.
This place in Things Betwixt is one of my favorite areas visually. Exaggerated a little for stronger atmosphere
Tried jumping straight to paint. Super fast, but felt kinda lost. Not awful for just 2 hours, needs practice though
Another brushtest doodle. Square with flow on pressure and rotation on drawing angle. It's got a nice feel to it
Keeping things in layers gets confusing, I end up with 50+. Seems faster and cleaner than working on 1 layer though
The lighting really turns it up a notch, lineart didn't do it justice. Krita's LUT management made things easier
This #anyonecanimproveatdrawing is fun to look through, here's me drawing aliens and environments from 2009 to 2015
Extra detail helped, left the lines on. Learning to indicate detail rather than rendering everything seems important
Made a big mess and didn't know where this was going, but I'm learning and trying new stuff. Finishing tomorrow
