Those arcs have pretty consistently been some of the better points of post-BND Spider-Man, in my opinion, considering his presence gave Norman and Peter a very real living symbol to fight over, making everything intensely personal in a whole new light.

But Spencer's run has been really consistent about it, leading a lot of people to believe that we're FINALLY undoing OMD. (For two years now.) After all, it opened with Peter remembering this scene from the Sensational Spider-Man Annual:

It's a pretty common question you see when people encounter early Spider-Man -- why does she Talk Like That? And like, 1) it's the '60s, but 2) it's because SHE'S FUCKING LOUD.

You have this huge pantheon of characters, to use the mythology angle, in this shared universe primarily created by Jewish people, modern Marvel specifically in the wake of World War II and the Holocaust.
