@gamesyouloved Oh! I've got it!
In hot weather you should be playing Cool Coyote, in Fire and Ice. Lots of time on the ice, then in cool castles, then underwater.
👍
@JamesPond47 @fgasking The Indiana Jones point-and-click games on the Amiga were great fun.
👍
@djh0ffman Is this a stock A600, or does it have a faster CPU?
I first got into ZX Spectrum emulation on my old A1200. I hadn't seen a real Speccy in years and it was so much fun to get to use one again. 😎 I must get a next, if I can work out how to justify the cost to my wife. 😁
@__p_____k_ @_d0pefish_ @lazygamereviews The left one is the default skin for WinAmp versions 3 and earlier. The right one is the default skin for WinAmp 5. They give them the deceptive names "Winamp Classic" and "Winamp Modern". Though, if you really want to have some fun, the options are too many to count.. 😁
@graffias79 @LIV2 Having a ton of extra FastRAM does open up some nice options. My Doom install has all the WAD files .LHA/LZX compressed (they compress really well), and extracts them to RAM and runs them from there when you launch it. It's just nice having a ton of FastRAM, at any speed. 😁
@oldyzach I think I first saw Maniac Mansion on the C64.
But I really took to it on the Amiga. I'm picky about controls, and this one is obviously better-controlled with a mouse .. Incidentally, there is an Onslaught release of the C64 game with mouse support: 😮

@daph2theb It was an excellent time in gaming. People could just try stuff. There weren't so many pre-conceived ideas of what made a "good" game. So if you could imagine it, and could code it, there was a good chance a publisher could be found that would be willing to put it out there. 👍
@RetroVidGaming Always loved the Ultimate game boxes.
They really knew how to stand out. 👍
[don't take that last screenshot as any endorsement of the game] 😉
