@farrelltheferal But the funny thing with Cannon Fodder (and sometimes the rage-inducing infuriating thing) is that some days it's just luck on whether you get through a certain bit easily. 😐 And the only way I would get through a hard bit was to leave it, and come back another day. {shrugs} 😁

@JamesPond47 Yeah. It's not a perfect fighter. But it's definitely got its own style. And I still kinda like it. 😎 It's different to all the Body Blows, Shadow Warriors, and Capital Punishments (which seem like similar engines with different specials.) And it feels so beautifully polished.

@8BitCheese @000Angus000 @FlightDreamz The Serf City naming I can live with. Mostly because, on both Amiga (pic #1) and DOS (pic #2), it's easy to get hold of under the 'proper' name. 😁 ..and "Serf City" kinda makes sense - as in a City of Serfs. Except that my mind keeps hearing "Surf City". 😋

Sometimes I'm prepared to give these US renames a pass.. But Chop 'n Drop? Oh my god, that's *terrible*! 😋

It's just hard to get anywhere. 🤔 So I tend to cheat my way through it these days, so I can have a 'relaxing' time at it. 😁

When I was a lad we had to walk down to the local arcade. Barefoot! In the snow! We had to beat some loose change out of a wild bear before we could play anything. And we played the original Gauntlet until our hands bled!

@farrelltheferal Good trick, trying to save your main guys. But you only need one main guy. 😉 If there's a lot of shooting needed, it's good to take two or more, coz one guy on his own will stop shooting to throw a grenade. 👍 The sequel is okay. But they added a new type of level I didn't like.

@farrelltheferal My last screenshots here, I got to Mission 8. I know how to beat Mission 8, but those rocket-launchers just keep getting me. 😐 Honestly, sometimes you'll lose all your recruits on one mission. Rage-quit. Come back the next day, and suddenly get through. 😁 Fun but cruel game. 😋
