Zynaps was best played with joystick, coz you waggle the stick to activate power-ups. 🕹️ I'd usually build up firepower and speed first. (Second pic, the big white icon is speed. Third pic it's firepower. ..Fourth pic is the missile I go for once I've taken care of the basics) 👍

Sometimes I saw it when there was, say, a C64 port of an arcade game. Usually it wasn't as good. But if the feel of it was there, and the patterns were about right, that made the experience a whole lot better. 😎

There are some character names that I don't think would fly these days. And I'm truly confused about the head of Frank Bruno: It looks like the artists just didn't finish drawing it. 🤔 Is he bald? Then why no shading? And why does his avatar up the top right have hair? Weird. 😋

Strangely, I did enjoy revisiting it. But there were so many things that annoyed me: If you don't start the game at the right time, you're launched into the demo. You rivals have moves that you can't defend against, even though you can see them coming a mile away. Aaargh!
