@CrazyCollector1 I also like that I can regularly get the floating creature on the first stage to glitch-out if I give him a neck-chop to the back of the neck. 😁
@CrazyCollector1 I like Way of the Tiger.
It's one of those games that no-one seems to really like - and I'll happily admit that it's not that good. But they put some hard work into this one.. and it almost worked. 😁
@CommodoreBlog Aw crap.. I'm already 14 hours into July 24 here. 😐🇳🇿
Which is probably fair.. I held onto my C64/128 for years before finally moving on up to a friend's second-hand A500, back in the day. 😁
(Picking a few images from some of the very first stuff I saw.) 😎
@000Angus000 @JazRignall I'm a 110% mouse+keys FPS-er.
The times before mouse+keys, they don't exist. 😋
Even Doom (through Doom Attack) on the Amiga.. it's full WASD and mouse-look. 😮
I enjoy old games, but I don't enjoy crap control schemes. Especially when we've settled on something much better. 😁
@rhayadercompute ..lets not forget infinite money.
Unlimited money works just as well. 🤑
@000Angus000 {gasp!} Never tried it? AKA that cool game that's like being Blade Runner in a Blade Runner world, except they didn't wanna use Blade Runner in the title? (Well okay, you're not chasing down replicants, but it still feels Blade Runner-y.) How many times can I say Blade Runner? 😁
@000Angus000 This would have been quite cool with a serial-link option. I wonder if they ever contemplated that? That would have allowed the possibility of four-player with everyone using a mouse. (The problem with new players to the game was that joystick controls weren't at all intuitive.)
@Bhaal_Spawn ..they used a crappy custom installer that wouldn't work from my (customised) desktop. I had to boot with no startup-sequence, run the installer, no option to choose a games folder. It was going in the root of the drive. 🤔 Its like they were trying to beat down our expectations.
@Bhaal_Spawn I think everything was better than this. 😋 Jump-kick to win took away any challenge. 🤔 It was an odd one on the Amiga. A1200's in the day came with a 40MB drive, and this one would take a full 13MB (33% of the drive space.) 😮 So the user was really committing to this game. 😁
