@SalvaCostanzo @RetroGamerDaz @gamesyouloved @Indie_RetroNEWS @EverythingC64 @C64TimeLine @C64Reloaded @C_64 "Mission Accomplished. Congratulations!" 😁
Very well done. It is a great game to complete. Feels like you've really achieved something, after all that puzzle solving. And the end of game sequence, though short, is a lot more spectacular than most C64 endings. 👍
@SonicStudioDev Shadow of the Beast certainly didn't shy away from large sprites. 😁
@C64Reloaded ..Thinks again: 🤔 But, if you're after realism, you can't go past Revs or Revs+. (Always go for the plus version, as it's got much improved keyboard controls.. though I did love the way it works with paddles.) 👍 That game taught me to drive, it did. 😉
@SarahJaneAvory @OlivierGuinart On music.. I'm reminded me of Empire. It had plenty of weak points. But I liked how ambitious it was.. and I remember it having music, all the time (or a lot of the time.) Real simple music, but it was dramatic, and changed in subgames, and when shields got low. Was a good touch.
@MarkRJones1970 I loved all the 8-bit Dan Dare games I played. They had such a beautiful cartoon-y quality about them. And the cover-art that adorned Crash + Zzap for them was gorgeous. 👍
This one's a simple aardvark (arcade adventure) where you swim around, pick up objects, and try to bring them to the right screen to do.. whatever. (Like an explosive charge, a pearl, a lantern, etc) Never completed it before, so I grabbed a walkthru and got through it. Fun game.
Going back to one I'm almost sure I actually bought/owned back in the day: Mermaid Madness. (memory so hazy) 😋 You are a mermaid 🧜♀️ and need a man. You've found the perfect one, but when you ran after him, he ran away, dived into the water, and got trapped. Time to save him! 👍
@StuOvine @SyntaxErrorSoft Who needs a Last Ninja when you've got this kind of gorgeous work going on?
😁👍
@retrokatg There are a lot of games that I remember that logo on. But the one that springs to mind now is Yie-Ar Kung-Fu. 👍 Probably burned into my brain as, not only do you see that huge Imagine logo while loading, but you see it many many time if you love the 9 min Galway title track. 😁
