@C64Reloaded International Soccer did a great job of converting a rather complex sport to the computer format. ⚽️ The thing that's really impressive is that it's still fun to play today. And its simple to pick up and play, something lost on many future takes on the game.

I don't think I've posted an Amiga game to play during the lockdown yet, have I? Heck I dunno. Days are blending. 😋 But I do know that top-down racers are still awesome. One that I don't think got much attention, but which I really love is Turbo Trax. Great GFX and soundtrack 👍

@potty_boy Yeah, Blue Max is a like Zaxxon and Scramble had a baby. And it's glorious. 😁

@Worrior110 I put a ton of credits into the Karate Champ arcade game. The two-joystick controls was really cool once you got the hang of it. So I was surprised when someone was able to think up a way of getting just about as many moves out of a game on the humble C64. Saved me much money. 😁

@Bhaal_Spawn Love the Bitmap Bros games in general .. but this advert / box art is just the worst. 😐

Haven't been tweeting enough games to play during the lockdown. I'm done with 'related' games. Lets get in to the escapist stuff. Stuff to get your mind off things. Blue Max! Blue Max is an absolute freaking classic game. Fly a biplane and blow s**t up game. We all need that. 😄

I was so challenging at times to be spotting some of those times when a criminal would draw. I'd be staring intently at the sceen and still miss it sometimes. I'd be shot and like "Aaargh! How did I miss that!" 😁

@bastichb64k @EverythingC64 @C64Retweets @A_GMofficial Westbank is a good game. Definitely a new perspective that hadn't been seen on the C64 before. But the animation is kinda lacking if you compare it to the arcade game Bank Panic. 🤔 The super simple animation actually made it harder in a way. Too easy to miss a gun being drawn 😮

@michaelberry How have I not played this game recently? There was nothing particularly stunning about its presentation, but it was and still is a solid game. 👍 For the time it was made it's really surprisingly sophisticated with its 3D forced perspective view. No simple 2D top-down tricks. 😋
