@romerogamesltd Don't mess with perfection.
It must be named Doom.
😎
[screenshots from doom on amiga .. just because i can] 😋
@JazRignall Huh.. I don't know this game at all.
(I was a home-computer guy .. consoles almost entirely passed me by.) 😁
But my ears definitely pricked-up when you said Lotus.
😎
@RealJamHamster This is the way of hardware upgrades. 😉
I absolutely adored the Amiga port of Ghosts 'n Goblins, but just about every upgrade I did on my Amiga would stop it working. *sigh*
@JohnDaviesIndo There was definitely something cool about Rolling Thunder when it came out. I don't think I'd seen an arcade game before that had this impressive 'anime' art style. The way dead enemies melted away was also a nice touch.
@dantemendes @EverythingC64 Starstruck is a cool demo.
I ran it in WinUAE on a virtual 040 or 060 cranked up as fast as I could. But it definitely gets a better frame rate in the above video.
@Lord_Arse Oh heck yeah.
I had a VIC, then C64. But at school, one of my friends had an Apple II, and another had a 48k Speccy.. And say what you want about 8-bit rivalries. The Speccy had some excellent games. 👍
