IrfanView takes a snap every 2 seconds while I'm playing, then I do a Photoshop batch to trim excess borders and chrome. 🤓 When I want to tweet something, I drop it into https://t.co/QiJ1hQEVDI do an IrfanView snapshot, and post that.

@dantemendes Oh man! Think how good these would have looked on a smartphone, eh? It worked well for Pinball Dream and Fantasies. Just a shame that Illusions and Slam Tilt never got the same treatment, eh? 😐

@dantemendes Now, it's very rare for me to suggest this, but there is a *Windows* version of Slam Tilt that's actually quite good. The front-end is lacking in music, but the tables themselves play exactly the same as on the Amiga. In glorious 800x600 resolution, with no interlace artefacts 😋

@dantemendes Night of the Demon was very cool. (Actually, all of the Slam Tilt tables are cool .. I spent a huge amount of time on the Ace of Space one, as that was the lone table in the demo on Aminet.) ..But the Demon table crashed on accelerated Amigas, until the WHDLoad install came. 😎

@MementoMoree @AmigaL0ve We don't usually see games with multiple sprites overlaid to create a high-res graphic like that. (And usually, when we do, it's a rough multicolour sprite overlaid with a black outline-sprite.) So it's nice to see what the machine can do when there is no real limit on memory. 👍

You ever have a game where you love the adorable intro / story stuff, but the game itself is kinda "meh". For me, that's Ugh! on the Amiga. The presentation is gorgeous in every way, and the teeny sprites are immaculately animated. But I usually don't bother to play it.. 🤔

@bloggospow @ChinnyVision He endures the pain so we don't have to.

Fortunately my needs are simple: It was the arcade one I loved as a kid. That's the only one I need. (And MAME solves that.) 👍
