@RetroBoyJon Flashback felt much more like a traditional platform game, with beautiful rotoscoping, move moves, and fortunately still with all the cut-scenes to keep that filmic feel. 🎥
@RetroBoyJon Another World really had me hooked.
I loved the story of that one, suddenly on another world and just trying to survive. And such beautiful filmic cut-scenes. 👍
@Lord_Arse I'm hearing it.
Are you hearing it?
{off the bike again} "Weeeeoooo..."
@ElGatolupa @CFSpeedwagon @C64Reloaded @C64Feed @electronicarts @retrograde77 @EC64Forum @EverythingC64 Skyfox?
Yeah, I might have heard of it..
😋
@Handson_gaming @bastichb64k Definitely. I'm not sure how many people would even work out how to get into the trapulator without instructions, as double-click just wasn't a common thing back then. And the trap that's set against furniture, then the door. Then the things to find, the case to carry them. etc.
@Handson_gaming @bastichb64k Spy vs Spy was such an unusual licensed game.
After getting it, I had a good read though of the instructions on the way home. Makes the world of difference when you know how it all works. 😄
Another one that's on a whole different level when played with two players. 👍
@000Angus000 I've tried to roll my own icons sometimes. Trouble is I could never find a decent workflow.. Grab the WinUAE window, hack it about in PhotoShop, bring it back in thru ADPro, then over to Iconian, where the colours get lost and have to be remapped. 🤔 Literally takes a weekend. 😋
@buzz_clik Or I could say it reminds me of Mag Max .. which reminds me of Xevious.
Basically, it all comes back to Xevious.
😋
