@buzz_clik It's looking really good. Looks quite at home on the C64, not like it's been transferred over from an NES at all. 😄 (I love the font. Reminds me of Xevious.) 👍
@zappedtothe It was a little frustrating that the CPU player was on rails, and would ride the exact same path every time. I would have liked to have seen a variety of paths at least, to force you to change your strategy. And, if there was a collision, it was you that went down, every time. 😐
@zappedtothe I really love the graphic style on this BMX game.
Beautiful strong shadows, and every large pic of a BMX bike has such a feeling of action to it. 👍
The game itself is a little disappointing in its simplicity. But it's still challenging. Especially fun with two players. 😎
@GabeMoralesVR @xga24837632 @OldTechAdverts It's an easy mistake to make. 😄 I don't know a huge amount about AMOS, but I don't believe it supported Amiga AGA GFX. 🤔 I could be wrong, but I think that was the case. Nonetheless there were some nice games made for the Amiga with AMOS. 👍
@TamsinLM @Bhaal_Spawn @RMCRetro The Vampire should play it at a good speed. 👍
Heck, Doom was playable on any Amiga that was 40MHz or better. Better again on a PowerPC. I expect it would look stunningly good on a Vampire or Buffee (ARM CPU replacement) Amiga. 🤔 If only the other chips could be sped-up too. 😋
@BitmapsRetro Carrier Command is a pretty cool game.
For years I had no idea what to do in it. But now that I actually know how to play it properly and, more importantly, that those "air to air" missiles work on ground targets too, I think I'd enjoy it a lot more. 😄
@jlendino @bastichb64k @ultimadragons @RMCRetro @FREEZE64UK @EverythingC64 @EC64Forum @CommodoreBlog @RichardGarriott Which sounds like a lot of work to tweet a few screen-snaps, but this screenshot collecting actually started as part of a plan for a website (which hasn't happened.. yet.) 😋 I used to tweet these as exact-pixels, but I just recently found CRT View and fell in love with the look.
