The toy gun turns into a new weapon, Beelzemon's eyes turn green, and he got a pair of wings! A subtle, but pleasing visual upgrade.
Really love this part where you see Impmon running and then you suddenly see Beelzemon as his leg comes into shot.
Ryo must've caused quite the stir for going missing if these many reporters are here. Or perhaps Ryo's father made a huge deal out of it. He does seem to miss his son, but we don't get much out of him after this becuse Monodramon steals the scene.
There is a small edit in the dub and it has to involve below the waist. Anyway, this isn't the full Biomerge sequence, but it's most of it, and it's awesome.
Data packets aka digital tumbleweeds. The Digital World in the Tamers Universe feels like a sci-fi western. Even has an immediate day-night cycle like in Pokemon Gold/Silver.
Now with Hypnos out of the picture, Yamaki seems to be turning over a new leaf and putting his trust in little kids too! That communication device was probably the most useful thing the kids brought with them on their adventure.
When Jeri asked Leomon for a favor, the scene cuts before we find out what. But I think the dub picked up on it, so Jeri explains to Kazu and Kenta that Leomon talked with her dad to explain the situation. That's pretty ballsy of her.
Ms. Asaji's biggest moment in the show. She really does seem like she enjoys teaching children and cares for their well-being. It must've hit her hard knowing the kids were sharing something personal with her and it it's a dangerous adventure they're getting into. Poor Ms. Asaji.
