@simonegoward @GalwayMr @RuddickRichard @EmpathyLabUK @bookhorse Boy in the Tower reminded me of ‘28 Days Later’, ‘The Last of Us’ and ‘The Girl with all the Gifts’. Managed to be thrilling and unsettling adventure, but suitable for a MG audience.
@simonegoward @GalwayMr @RuddickRichard @EmpathyLabUK @bookhorse Love when you have them screaming to READ ON! Had it a couple of times already with Podkin, our current RfP choice!
@jonnybid @charliehacking @GoshComics @RuddickRichard This usually sums me up 😂 just trying (some say slowly) to get some money for a deposit. Which in London is a very lengthy process.
@ClubPicturebook Interesting, with so many children's texts the agency is on the child, usually away from the parents - there are only a few that sprung to mind. 'My Dad's a Birdman', although strictly not a picturebook, is an ex. of a father being caring, empathetic & loving - rare in ch lit.lit

@charliehacking @ClareHelenWelsh @AshlingLindsay @LittleTigerUK Looks like a really good accompaniment to our creative writes which have had a water theme lately...
@jonthelegend @smithsmm @TeresaCremin Love the multi-edition hardbacks. Got two in class alongside a Hergé non-fiction book. Totally got me into reading. What was your favourite Tintin @jonthelegend?
