@duck_twacy My favorite things to read as a kid were pretty much anything by Dr. Seuss, Shel Silverstein and the Peanuts comics. I feel like they explain a lot about my style

Anytime you're watching a Peanuts cartoon and for one shot the characters are standing in a blank color field I'm happy! It doesn't really ring to me as a mistake. Rather, a genius way to use dramatic emphasis and capture the charming minimalism of Schulz's comic.
