I don't know if now is the best or worst time to talk about it, but Gen 7 freaking KILLED IT in the pokemon design department. Say what you want about everything else, but it's pokemon designs are masterpieces, and some of their best work.

studio ghibli has the most magical animation, it makes the simplest shots look like paintings, it's so calming and soulful and it always suits the soundtracks which also happen to be real masterpieces, these movies just have my whole heart
