文禄・慶長の役(壬辰倭乱)当時、僕の地元では第1次・第2次錦山の戦いが繰り広げられました。
2回とも義兵(WW2のレジスタンスのような民兵です)・僧兵が中心で、劣勢だった朝鮮側の敗北で終わりました。
今も第2次錦山の戦いで戦死した義兵たちの墓(七百義塚)が残っていて、地元の名所になっています。
