I guess they made him more bulbous over time? The hair in the first image was so promising for rayman looking closer to the cgi legends design (which would fit this games animation style). But oh well, he's looked worse.

『マニカルニカ ジャーンシーの女王』観た。19世紀に実在した小国王妃を描くスペクタクル抗英史劇。無茶は多少控え目。全肯定された愛国主義は時に狂気の域に達するが、一方で不合理な伝統や性差別を切って捨てる開明的な面も随所にある。目力と絶叫演技がいいね。一部CGIが低品質なのが勿体無い。

E se uma cena utilizar CGI como base e desenhos 2D por cima disso? Ren Onodera fez isso em sua cena em Do It Yourself dessa semana. O próprio animador fez o modelo 3D e posteriormente redesenhou todos os quadros em 2D, criando o resultando espetacular que vemos aqui!
