Talking with about our old art got me motivated to redraw this. The left is 2017 vs 2020 . I'm still working on getting t hings to be a bit more proportionate I'm happy with the way the hair turned out (as always 🤣)

A fantastic story - Sinbab and Aladdin all rolled into one! This story was of epic proportions (and stories within the story) - jinn, sea witches, an ancient curse and magic. Themes of friendship and family and understanding the importance of our emotions. Loved Amira and Namur❤️

Drew a more human-like Oleander with human proportions for fun. This was actually very fun to make ngl (Not going to lie). I really loved how he turned out. This is not permanent, but I may draw him like this again. Not a full body.

The initial color sketch.

Usually I start doing random strokes and shapes until it begins to take the shape I want. During this stage the eyes, the body and the flower have incorrect proportions and positions, that is gradually fixed as you overpaint.

But seriously, when I first saw the Smash version Banjo, I thought they designed him by kinda combining Classic Banjo with Nuts and Bolts Banjo. He's in the style of classic Banjo but with bulky proportions closer to Nuts and Bolts Banjo.
