Though perhaps taking more reference could of helped a bit. Stuff like Wammu's attack here are perfect references for a spinning wind attack. Or perhaps trying to emulate Leo's own golden slash VFX could of worked well too.
Maybe try those out in future. Hope this helps mate :D
