I'm really enjoying this return to the 80s in some indie horror/scifi movies with low budgets, synth music and practical FX, with directors like Joe Begos (Bliss, ,VFW), Panos Cosmatos (Beyond the Black Rainbow, Mandy) and films like Kin, Upgrade, The Void... Any recommendation?

I've been watching the very esoteric selection of vintage Japanese studio films on Amazon and don't know who to tell about it. A ton of them are directed by Seijun Suzuki, who made 40 films from 1956-1967 before getting fired for being TOO surreal
