Lineart experiments. Found that perf is tied to poly count. Explicitly setting high poly collection to exclude from lineart, and making lines from low poly increased perf by 10-100x.

Added line weight by baking light/ao to vcol and converting to vertex group.

lineart new feature in shadow branch: Intersection priority option, allows intersection lines to be categorized into the object that has higher priority, It's much easier now if you don't want to select and style intersections separately :D

Okay this is super neat: in 2D animation tools (#greasepencil), you can create a modifier for 2D objects that traces 3D underlay stuff in your scene. This just saved me a TON of time! Now I can focus on drawing Nemo!
