@DanSlott Always loved Steve Gerber's parody of these ads in CRAZY:
10/29/85: THE VISION AND THE SCARLET WITCH #5 has gone into "real time" with Wanda's pregnancy, as each story occurs a month apart and is connected to a holiday. It's Halloween time, but she's trapped in the Land of the Dead. Fun scene: she tells brother Pietro she's expecting.
#ComicBookPSAs Talk it out, don't fight it out, you damn kids!
#ComicBookPSAs Some great athletes overcame great disabilities, you damn kids!
#ComicBookPSAs It's okay to be different, you damn kids! Hell, you read comics, you should know!
Inker par excellence Joe Sinnott was born OTD in 1926; no one was more important in giving the FF their trademark sheen over decades, finishing Kirby, Romita, Buckler, Buscema, Pérez, Sienkiewicz, Byrne. The Inkwell Hall of Fame Award bears his name. Sadly, we lost Joe last year.
#ComicBookPSAs It takes foreigners to make you appreciate the benefits of school, you damn kids! And don't dance unless Buzzy approves your moves!
#ComicBookPSAs Mental illness is no stigma, you damn kids!
9/25/69: This tweet is for everyone whose memory of buying a comic book is wedded to an incident. After getting TWILIGHT ZONE #31, my parents & I went across the street to J. C. Penney, where they bought me new shoes. Lead story is by future WONDER WOMAN artist Jose Delbo.
