New Video:
I wrote this video covering 9 Lost Zelda Games, including Retro Studios' Sheikah spinoff on Wii, and Davide Soliani's Wind Waker GBA prototype. I spent weeks translating interviews and even conducting some brand new interviews. Check it out: https://t.co/zXTMmSznGg
Beta Gabite:
Probably the most interesting designs revealed in July's leak of Gen 4 beta sprites was the Gabite family, who were originally very different compared to their final designs.

Beta Gible:
The Gen 4 beta sprite leak a few months back (the second Gen 4 leak in less than a year) revealed lots of Pokemon designs that were significantly different to their final designs.

Beta Bellossom:
In Gold & Silver's 1997 demo, and even in her official Gen 2 artwork, Bellossom was purple. But she was later changed to green, probably for the same reason as Jynx: https://t.co/cDN69awln4

Lost Pokemon of the Day: the Norowara family
First revealed when Gold & Silver's 1997 demo leaked in 2018, Norowara and Kyonpan were pure Ghost-type Pokemon based on a Chinese straw doll and a Jiangshi panda.

Beta Leafeon:
In Gold & Silver's 1997 demo, Leafeon's original name was Riifi (Leafy). He got cut from Gen 2, but eventually returned with a new name & design in Gen 4.

Beta Espeon:
In Gold & Silver's 1997 demo, instead of happiness, Eevee evolved into Espeon via Heart Stone -- an item scrapped in development that was also used for Xatu and Politoed.

Beta Umbreon:
In Gold & Silver's 1997 demo, instead of Dark-type, Umbreon was originally pure Poison-type and evolved from Eevee via Poison Stone -- an item that got scrapped in development.

(4/4) In Japan, Primal Dialga is actually known as "Dark Dialga." Therefore, he bears no canonical relation to Primal Groudon & Primal Kyogre -- whose Japanese names are the same, "Primal."
