Daytime, I'm working as lead animator (& now also scene colorist) for a pretty special NES project involving a new type of cartridge. The game is called "Former Dawn". We're a team about a dozen big. You can get news on @SomethinNerdy
Project Blue was the first NES game with a commercial release I worked on (together with @toggleswitch2 & @mteegfx .
A sequel is in the works. Donny has already done much of the engine and music.

"Borscht" is the codename for a personal pet project - a gothic romance inspired by superstition, folklore, e.a.poe & a few historic accounts of nefarious noblemen & women. I wrote its first two themes when i was a teen, began real work on it 4 yrs ago, and it'll take me 4 more.
Siphrah's kitchen. Legit 8x1 attribute background for the NES. WIP.
This is a team effort. OG line art & design by @saltandpixeldev , 2nd pass (colour/shading/redraws) by me.
This is for "Former Dawn", a new RPG for the NES by @SomethinNerdy

@chriswearly ohh ok! Well, i have a font made for it, but i'm not ready to show all of it to the world yet. Here's some of it (that's not an actual ingame line - just a joke)
Always tiny improvements to be had though. i sort of doubt changes will be immediately recognizeable, but i hope new spectators will "feel it"
@f5kn For graphics tricks, how about this one?
The left is the graphics as laid down in the tileset and on the screen table. The right is how it is presented through scrolling tricks. Besides not having to draw the texture, it saves on tiles because the triangular shape is simpler.
