Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man (2019) #14
Spider-Man and Peter both keep a promise. Writer Tom Taylor, Artists Ken Lashley & Marguerite Sauvage and Colorist Rachelle Rosenberg. A fitting end to Tom Taylor’s superb run and some overall nice art. 4.5/5
Valkyrie: Jane Foster (2019) #6
Jane enlists the aid of special healers. Writers Al Ewing & Jason Aaron, Artist Pere Pérez, Colorist Jesus Aburtov. An outlandish plot and an even more bizarre super-group, makes for some very entertaining reading. Nice art doesn’t hurt either. 4/5
I thought I’d share some of my artwork in celebration of #Svengoolie’s 41st #Svenaversary!
Daredevil (2019) #14
Matt’s inner conflict is mirrored by NYC’s external one. Writer Chip Zdarsky, Artists Marco Checchetto & Francesco Mobili, Colorist Nolan Woodard. Zdarsky is weaving an intrinsically, yet complex urban drama, that is classic Daredevil. 4.5/5
X-Men (2019) #3
The Ladies of Hordiculture. Writer Jonathan Hickman, Penciler-Inker Leinil Francis Yu, Inker Gerry Alanguilan, Colorists Sunny Gho & Rain Berdeo. A fascinating and surprisingly scary adversary for the Mutants to deal with. 4.5/5
X-Force (2019) #2
Wolverine goes hunting. Writer Benjamin Percy, Artist Joshua Cassara, Colorist Dean White. I like that Percy has Wolverine rushing off headlong, with no plan in his inimitable style and the Cassara-White team are turning out some nicely disturbing work. 4.5/5
Avengers #26 (1966-Mar.)
Wasp is captured before she can warn the Avengers of Attuma in “The Voice of the Wasp!" Writer Stan Lee, Penciler Don Heck, Inker Frank Giacoia. Lee wastes story on character retread and Attuma’s motivations are somewhat vague. I do like the art team. 3/5
Saturday Morning cartoon, I watched Batman: The Animated Series, S1, E4: “The Last Laugh” The Joker covers Gotham City in a cloud of laughing gas and begins plundering the crazed city.🦇🦇🦇🦇

Excalibur (2019) #2
Betsy Braddock, the new Captain Britain, and the team head to the seat of Excalibur’s power. Writer Tini Howard doing a good job at establishing the many facets of this group’s past/present, but my main interest is in Marcus To-Erick Arciniega’s fine art. 3/5
Tony Stark: Iron Man (2018) #18
The Wasp and a remote-piloted Nano Iron Man are inside Tony’s physical body trying to save his humanity. Writers Christos N. Gage & Dan Slott pack-in two-issues worth of plot. Penciler Paco Medina, Inker Walden Wong and Colorist Edgar Delgado 3.5/5
