In Dragon Ball Super of course, we learn that Babidi did finally attempt to revive Buu in Future Trunks’ world, years later than in the “main” timeline. The exact timeframe isn’t given, but it’s apparently not long before Goku Black’s arrival in 795.

The Japanese name for the Hexcitation spell is マホプラウス/Maho Purausu, a fairly direct anagram of “Magic Plus” (魔法プラス/Mahou Purasu), a straightforward name for a magic combo spell. “Hexcitation” meanwhile comes from “hex” (spell) and…”multiplication”, I guess?

Goku’s trip to Grand Kaio’s world is only mentioned in the anime, and the visuals don’t quite match his location while talking with Gohan or during his training scene. Per the guides, this spot is actually supposed to be heaven. Yes, all dogs (and some squid aliens) do go there!

When Buu arc Dende first appears, he’s super tall and wears an outfit like the prior Kami used to wear (complete with 神/Kami/God mark). When he reappears later though, he’s far shorter and has reverted to his typical Namekian garb. What happened in the meantime? God knows

Meanwhile, Vegeta is suitably shocked to learn that kid Trunks and Goten are already Super Saiyans. He tests Trunks out by promising to take him to an amusement park if he can land a blow…a promise not fulfilled until the Super anime.
