Borahorn’s death and Crocodine blocking Baran’s blow in the manga vs the anime. Gotta love bright blue Kool-aid blood (but I suppose it’s fitting, since later in the episode it becomes a plot point that only humans have red blood)

DBS: Broly shows us a group of Saiyans who certainly seem to be scientists, the hardworking staff of the baby capsule chamber. Naturally, they seem to spend most of their time measuring power levels.

As for Bulma’s birth: she gives her age as 16 when she first meets Goku...and also 8+ months later during the RR arc (meaning she should be close to 17 by then). In keeping with this, per the official timeline Bulma is born in Age 733 and meets Goku in Age 749.

Soala’s explanation of the name “Dino” and Baran being terrible at holding baby Dai come from a much later flashback in the manga, and have been moved up here. As I’ve said a few times, the real world reason for “Dino” is that Sanjo named him after dinosaur (same diff I guess)

@Rule34Rocks Looks like an evil dragon

So yeah, the film Battle of Gods has Beerus talk as if Freeza blew up Planet Vegeta as a personal favor. Naturally the main series portrays Freeza as blowing it up for his own reasons, so if anything this was a two birds, one stone affair.

Assassination is the speciality of the Crane School, and Tao uses the Crane School’s trademark Dodon-pa technique. So again, why’s he only been doing this 20 years? Did he have a falling-out with his brother that drove him into office work? The fanfic practically writes itself

Tomorrow: Tao’s career change!

It’s not until the Namek arc that we get the more familiar explanation: that Vegeta is prince and named after his father. Yet even this is only spelled out in the anime, while the original manga never names Vegeta’s father beyond “the king”.

(Goku says Roshi won the tournament, but doesn’t specify when, so it’s possible that in movie land he just knows the truth about Jackie Chun)
