A really well crafted and fun episode all around! definitely a high point so far!

Mariko Fujita's (藤田まり子) take on Sakura is still the cutest among the recurring AD's!

TBH i might have to look into more of her work after because i've just been adoring her work on this show!

Ep24 is easily one of CCS's best-executed ideas.

Katsumi Terahigashi (寺東克己) & Akira Mano (真野玲) team up to realize this Alice in Wonderland-esc adventure!

they do an amazing job of utilizing Sakura's new size to their advantage, crafting layouts from her perspective.

Tomoyo is once again on the costume grind. the dedication is real!

Overall, a pretty varied and well-supervised episode. really love the drawings of Li and Meiling in particular.

The episode ends with a very heartfelt exchange between Kuromi and Baku, making this episode not only one of the show's funniest, but one of its most emotionally satisfying.

it really is the whole package. 10/10, well done Okubo!

Once again we see one of the guiding Kanada School principles at work here: less is more.

despite how limited this cut is, how it uses those frames actually makes it snappier and more impactful

Okubo's strong direction also applies to a lot of the visual jokes, like Kuromi just turning to stone and crumbling on the spot.

like holy shit... LOOOK AT THIS...! I'm honestly in shock that this is all in one continuous cut, and with such an efficient frame count....!

The Kanada School is truly undefeatable...! 🙇🙏
