My huge gap as a comic / graphic novel fan: Marvel & DC Superheroes. But my daughter and I got lost in our discussion about Raven - the characters, story, the art! Beast Boy is preordered and I’m wondering where to start with the history of Teen Titans. Am a hooked late bloomer.
Looking for short story collections for my nearly 13 year old daughter, that shift away from Upper Primary and right into early YA. Have been browsing but recommendations greatly appreciated! @MissMisch77 @bysarahayoub @EmilyGale @NovaWeetman @kmjgardiner @textpubYA @LoveOzYA
@KathLangrish @tygertale @Mat_at_Brookes @frankcottrell_b @AmandaPCraig @bookloverJo @Readitdaddy @LucyMangan @whatSFSaid @MrEPrimary @TheGEAcademy @Booktrust I’ll add the verse novel Inside Out & Back Again by Thanhha Lai, published 2011. Have to keep thinking on others.

@denabooks @kmcmac74 @knott_michele Pie in the Sky by @Remy_Lai has been one of my favorite reads this year. Also, The Muslims by @Zendibble is very funny.
Always a joy to discover new children’s manga that is clearly labelled for all ages - this rating is *so* helpful for primary teachers and librarians. I’ve started reading Vol 1 and reckon #LittleWitchAcademia would be a hit with Harry Potter fans. Thanks @jyforkids & @yenpress.

@theshenners Thank you! I’ve just preordered Pilu of the Woods.
