@AmyMarsden12 For my current WIP, I'd have to say Charlys and Yaetherim. Although they're not together yet, their manner with each other indicates it's pretty clear.

@MeganDanversOG @KaiArtx Secondly, Nelack is the 'wandering mage'. They stand at 5'1", unusually short for a Rychillan. They've also got heterochromia. Both their eyes are natural colours for Rychillans, though.

@GabriellaBuba Karis (1st pic) is almost always in formal workwear - this is the uniform of the town guard, maroon being the royal colour.

On a formal occasion, such as a ball, Karis and Tenora will wear tailored dresses (2nd pic).

@ReneeGendron Yaetherim will usually call on his friends, and Charlys in particular. They grew up together in Riala Village, and served together as protectors.

Charlys is now a protector captain, and so she can bring the Fairy cavalry when needed, so to speak.

@HLeeDavisWriter Karis does. I don't want to give away too much, but it's connected to the six-pointed brooch she wears. (It's not a sheriff's badge.)

It's a bit difficult for her sometimes, as she's in a social position where she's expected to be honest and transparent.

@QuillQuestions Yaetherim has several, and a hole cut in his right wing. The latter has been patched over with fabric.

He was attacked with a water lance after discovering two humans trespassing in the forest while on patrol.

@GabriellaBuba so they pick dresses that match each others' hair. They also wear each others' hairstyles. This isn't a conscious thing - it's subconscious, just a feeling for both of them that this is right.

@Akanetto2 Yaetherim lost his purpose as a forest protector. He was on patrol when two Rychillans attacked him and left him for dead. His injuries, including a hole in one wing, meant he had to retire.

As for who attacked him, that's the plot of the first book.
