@JordynAlger My current #WIP is 'A Pinch of Distrust', which follows a fairy and an arch-mechanic investigating a series of murders and rune tampering. It's secondary world detective/fantasy.

@theoneginevra I write detective/fantasy, which takes place in a secondary world. It follows Yaetherim, a fairy turned private eye, and his allies as they track down killers and other criminals.
Format is mostly 'murder of the week' with underlying subplots.

@Areaer_Novels Yaetherim has Charlys, they've known each other since they were younglings. Both were forest protectors, but Yaetherim's career took a turn when he was attacked.

@Kiraofthewind1 Nelack is nonbinary. They're known as 'the wandering mage', owing to their lifestyle traveling across the Kingdom of Rychilla. They've seen more of the kingdom than anyone else.
They'll be a key player in my second book, and a core character afterwards.

@KyandiAkatensei Thanks 🙂. It just seemed to work better when I wrote the story.
His name's Yaetherim, and he's a flora elemental fairy. (Art commissioned from @pamonhaart.)
@GabriellaBuba Yaetherim and Naeliya are like family. They've both got siblings of the same gender, who are a couple of decades older. So they relate more to each other.
'Twas the landlord at Cropper's Crony who introduced them. His hobby is matchmaking friendships.

@MissAmethysa This is Yaetherim, the main character of my fantasy/detective series. He's a former forest protector, who turns private eye after the attack that left him with his scars.
He's a snarky, manipulative bastard who's fun to write.

@RipleyJNick Fairies believe Galarus created each of them for a specific purpose. Naeliya can't find hers, so she's drifted into a job as a messenger - the default job for town fairies.
As she helps investigate murders, she discovers she's got a talent for it herself.

@TalesofEire For Karis and Tenora it'll be at this year's Jacaranda Ball. They've already got a close friendship, and Tenora's encouraged Karis to go to the ball with her hair down. The penny drops when they're dancing together.

@AlinaLeonovaSF One of my core cast has that combination, Arch-Mechanic Tenora Perskel.
Karis Relinda is known as 'the steel veritor' for both her hair/eye colour and her cold demeanor. She's also part-Druhlac, so she has the horn nubs and tall stature.
