@AmaraJLynn Naeliya (red-haired fairy) is aro/ace. She's the 'Watson' to my MC and is like the sister he never had.

Karis (silver hair) is demi, but hasn't realised it yet. Her only relationship ended disastrously, and she's not allowed herself to get close to anyone since.

@AmaraJLynn Nelack is a skilled mage, who has been wandering the Kingdom of Rychilla for the last 3 years. Despite being young, they have a breadth of experience that exceeds that of most Rychillans.

When they arrive in Alkentoft, they're looking to settle down.

@GabriellaBuba Town fairies usually wear clothes similar to those of the Rychillans, albeit with longer sleeves. Forest fairies wear clothes woven from leaves and other plant materials.

@justin_author I've got forest and town fairies, along with multiple races of humans.

Diversity also exists amongst fairies in terms of their element. The ones in the pictures are a florakind and a waterkind.

@pandorasgirl1 They're the 'winged human-ish' type. But when they reach the age of 10 or 11, their magic starts to infuse into them, and they grow to match their element. The exception to this are nokinds, fairies without magic.

When fully grown, they stand about 12"/30cm tall.

Charlys is my next core character. She's a forest protector, and has known Yaetherim since they were younglings. She's a nokind, which is a fairy without any elemental magic. This is rare, but it does happen.

Karis is my next core character. As a veritor, she's one of the senior members of the town guard in Alkentoft. She takes her duty very seriously, and is never really off-duty.

My next core character is Naeliya, a waterkind town fairy. She started out as a messenger in the town of Alkentoft, but soon grew bored with it. So she's stuck in a rut at the moment.

Next character intro is Tenora, a Rychillan arch-mechanic. When not running her workshop, she enjoys tinkering and hanging out with her friends. She's kind and doesn't like seeing people get hurt.

This is Yaetherim, the main character of the #Rychilla Cases. He's a former forest protector turned private investigator. He's cynical & manipulative, with florakind magic.
