@SheaBallard Cars. They're steam-powered, like some of the early ones in our world. They also have 4 wheels and the same general design.

However, they're rear-engined, and the steam is provided by a combination of waterkind and firekind magic.

@QuillQuestions It's named that as it's around the same time the jacaranda trees bloom. It's a formal ball, for both humans and fairies.

@SheaBallard Rychillans wear sleeveless or short-sleeved outfits, for 2 main reasons: it's a subtropical climate, and their arm tattoos convey social status. Covering them up is considered dishonest.

By Rychillan standards, a 1" sleeve is long.

@tkjamesauthor Yaetherim has eight scars across his arms and legs, and another across his chest. But the worst is on his right wing. A hole was cut in it during the same attack that gave him his scars, with a water lance spell. He had fabric sewn over it, to fly again.

@QuillQuestions Charlys is bisexual and demiromantic. She's only ever had romantic feelings for Yaetherim, but has courted others. She and Yaetherim still haven't quite realised they're in love yet.

@justin_author Yaetherim would swap with Naeliya. As a messenger, Yaetherim wouldn't have to worry about finding killers, he'd just have to take messages to and from people. Less stress. But he may find it boring.

@GabriellaBuba Most of them get exercise as part of their natural movements during the day. Karis specifically keeps herself fit, by taking walks in the morning and keeping her muscles toned. As a town guard, she needs to be in shape.
