@CommodoreBlog Shadow of the Beast was one of the first games I saw on my friend's Amiga. It was just one of those titles that you would have to show to people, as it would inevitably make them go "wow, this is amazing." 😮
@UridiumAuthor Fire and Ice was one of the first games I played when I got my Amiga. It's one of the few that still played correctly as I upgraded to newer and faster Amiga's over time. Loved that neat visual touch on the title screen of Cool Coyote barking in time to the music. 👍
@000Angus000 @Bhaal_Spawn Well, of course it's an emulated personal computer.. I may have said it once or twice or twenty times: goddamn that game runs so *slow* on a real Amiga. 😮 Now I'm gonna go play OpenXCom instead, because I know how much that annoys you. 😋
@CrazyCollector1 I really did like how some of the characters were re-imagined in the sequel: Day of the Tentacle.
@CrazyCollector1 I'd been playing a few ScummVM games yesterday. Of course this happened to be one of the ones I *didn't* play, so I rectified that today. The Amiga version does look quite good.
@ausretrogamer Wait.. 🤔
{checks high resolution map..}
You're at least 16 pixels behind me, future-boy. 😋 🇳🇿
@0xC0DE6502 ..By extension (later game, same company), Super Cycle also does a great job of showing a beautifully drawn track. Some nice pre-rendered sprites have been added to the sides of the road, and more variety on the horizon. 👍 (The sound lets it down though.)

@AmigaL0ve But, naturally, I also have to have a "fast-as-possible" configuration, when you want to do the CPU-heavy stuff, like Duke Nukem 3D, Doom, Quake, etc. 👍
I mean, it would be rude not to, right? 😋
@TonimanGalvez @rexthedogge Battle Squadron was stunning.
Very smart of them to put an option for a mouse control for player 2. Then anyone without a second stick (I hear they exist) could bring in a second player, should some random human turn up unexpectedly. (I hear it happens.) 😋
