@FlightDreamz And Blood Money is another fun one.
The big HAM image is PAL .. I think.
All the intro stuff is standard NTSC 320x200 screens.
The title/credits screens are NTSC, but shorter by a dozen pixels.
The gameplay play-area is NTSC size, with an extra 32 pixels of score-panel added. 🤔
@FlightDreamz This only got me so annoyed because it was the same with most DMA games. Lemmings 2? (Excellent game.)
The DMA logo is a PAL-size screen.
The intro is NTSC, but vertically centred.
The title screen is NTSC (not centred.)
The gameplay is NTSC.. plus two pixels. 😮
@TheSplendidFox Surely there's at least one tribe on the forest-moon of Endor that are real dicks that the Walker needs to pay a visit to..
😄
@FloppyDeepDive I remember, as a kid playing it, you became attuned to the bullet sound. (For those unfamiliar, these guys shoot with no crouch-to-shoot warning at all!) 😮 And we would duck as soon as we heard the shot, even if we hadn't worked out where it was yet. The only way to survive. 😁
@FloppyDeepDive Don't bring your slow old-man reactions to this one.
This game has no mercy.
It does have an excellent soundtrack though.
😉
@C64Chronicles @zappedtothe One of the best games on the C64, without a doubt. 👍
It took some practice to get good enough at the platform game side of it, so you still had time to assemble the punch-cards at the end. 🤓
@gamesyouloved The Speccy version of Green Beret is very good.
I've got to work out some more strategies for dealing with those jumping guys. I knew how to get them on other versions. But these guys just hang in the air for so long. 🤔
@JudgeDrokk This is another game with an excellent easyflash (and .d64) release with new flashy loading pic and stage select. 🤔 I'm still not massively into the game, but I love to see it when a much improved version is released. 😄
@american80s The 2000AD cartoon style of the intro had me 100% invested in the game before I'd even started playing. 😄
@buzz_clik Definitely a good compilation. 👍
